Interferon beta

Betaseron, Extavia, Avonex, Rebif (interferon beta) is a protein pharmaceutical. Interferon beta was first approved as Betaseron on 1993-07-23. It has been approved in Europe to treat multiple sclerosis. The pharmaceutical is active against interleukin-6 receptor subunit alpha and interleukin-6. In addition, it is known to target interferon alpha/beta receptor 1.
