Hydrocortisone

Alkindi Sprinkle, Cort-dome, Cortef, Cortenema, Cortril, Hydrocortisone, Hydrocortone, Alkindi, Efmody, Plenadren (hydrocortisone) is a small molecule pharmaceutical. Hydrocortisone was first approved as Alkindi Sprinkle on 1982-01-01. It is used to treat adrenal insufficiency, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, contact dermatitis, facial dermatoses, and foot dermatoses amongst others in the USA. It has been approved in Europe to treat adrenal insufficiency and congenital adrenal hyperplasia. The pharmaceutical is active against glucocorticoid receptor. In addition, it is known to target mineralocorticoid receptor. Cortef’s patent is valid until 2034-05-12 (FDA).
