It is used to treat depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, pain, panic disorder, and psychotic affective disorders in the USA. The pharmaceutical is active against sodium-dependent noradrenaline transporter and sodium-dependent serotonin transporter. In addition, it is known to target G protein-activated inward rectifier potassium channel 4, G protein-activated inward rectifier potassium channel 2, sodium-dependent dopamine transporter, and second secreted glycoprotein;small secreted glycoprotein;spike glycoprotein.
